Girlfriends
Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think men will ever fully understand the bond between girlfriends.
I am lucky enough to have four women in my life that, I know, would willingly walk though fire if I needed them to. They've made me laugh, they've listened to me whine, and they've been rock solid through major upheavals in my life. These women would help me bury the body before asking what happened.
I spent the day with my girls today and as we were talking and laughing and just spending time together, I realized that I am one of the most blessed women I know. Not everyone has the kind of friendships that I am fortunate enough to have in my life. I know they're going to kill me for this picture but it's the only recent one that I have without anyone else in there. Sorry!
Cheers to the most intelligent, amazing, talented, and freaking awesome women I know! Ladies, you've got mad skills!! That's just the way you roll.

The truest sign of friendship is just like you explained...they help you bury the body, then ask what happened.
OneHung's best friend is that way. He comes over with no questions asked. He helps clean up the problem. He then asks "Ok, what are we telling Mrs. Hung?"
I love my girlfriend lot too; there's nothing like getting together talking, drinking, laughing, crying, whatever we have to do. (Mostly laughing and drinking, though.)
Georgianne summed us up one night, when she drunkenly said, "I love us so much. Even we want to be us."

I used to have friends like that...or so I thought. The 3 closest people to me right now are my mother, my daughter and my husband....however a girl I grew up beside of, my very best friend as a child, was in and out of touch with for many years because our lives pulled us in different directions....turns out to be my new neighbor when we moved into this house...how ironic is that?!?!? We love it though

We get it, we just can't show that we get it! If any other guys see how we understand females, we may be suspected of turning into females! Being a guy is all about fooling people into thinking you're a real man. And being a real man means being cruel to one's buddies. It's very hard to have good chums when you're a guy.
While I love my guy friends...you're right, you can never replace the kind of relationship girls have.
