Bad Things Come in 3's?

Update from the last few days ....

I cut my knee open on a nail and had to get a tetanus shot. I am a huge needle-phobe so I was very proud of myself for actually going to get the shot. I figure that's better than dying a gruesome lock jaw death.

Still working the long hours at work. I missed my friend's birthday dinner and I missed going out with all my girls on Marti Gras night. Very disappointing indeed.

Someone broke into my car at work. Guess what they stole ... no, not my MP3 player or the change in my change cup ... they stole a 24 pack of Coke from my back seat. Yes, that's right, they chose to break the most expensive small window in my back seat for about $7.00 worth of loot. I hope karma comes back and kicks them in the ass!! Wearing a size 14 boot!! With a steel toe!!

On a positive note, surprisingly, I am getting a lot of positive feedback for all the work I've been doing lately. I wasn't expecting that because praise isn't usually given freely around my office. It brought a smile to my face for the first time in weeks.

I just got home from the office and I'm about to put in a couple more hours. It's 8:00 now so I should be done by 11:00 or so. I'm very much looking forward to sitting on my couch when I'm done.

I hope all is well in your world!

Happy Thursday!!

It's too bad about about the tetanus shot, your car and missing the Mardi Gras party, but on the other hand, if the theory of things coming in threes holds true, you now have two other good things to look forward to. :)

That sucks about the window! My drivers side window broke a couple of years ago, it was almost $400 for a replacement window.

I had the little wing window on my Bronco broken at Philadelphia International Airport several years ago for an empty pack of cigarettes.

I can't wait until you're able to take a breather and not have such crazy hours. I'm so glad that they're recognizing all that you do as well.

Master criminals, coke...haha..at least steal Pepsi. Glad to see things are the way they should be at your work. You can always catch the next Mardi Gras, or a birthday dinner.

So if they had have taken your MP3 player it would have made the broken window somehow less painful? ;)

Anyone who thieves from individuals needs to be beaten with sticks.
